Another year of challenges and changes.
Additions to the power and graphical
scope of Second Life shape our work in new ways. Mesh is prevalent
now, though it is still easy to see the genius in many older prim
builds. In with the new, but not out with the old.
Our landmass has changed, and will
change again as needed. Second Life as a platform has aged, but aged
gracefully. An avatar or a building made now with current tools will
look orders of magnitude more real than those made before the time of
Windlight, and the time of our founding. Still, with skilled hands
and the old tools, the world still drew us in. Things change, things
stay the same.
Some weary, some elated.
And we're still here.
